So far, I've been already displeased with IE7's beta. I mean, beta obviously shouldn't be trusted as perfect, but it's dodgy when you're typing. Well, atleast for myself, it is. I have to constantly look up just to be sure each key I hit has actually gone through.
Some more bad news, apparently uninstalling IE7 can cause problems. I'm not 100% sure about that, nor am I sure exactly what problems occur, but I have been warned by a good friend of mine not to uninstall it. I regret losing IE6...

I haven't used IE7, but if you removed some stuff, you probably removed the history of your tabs so it went to the microsoft site.

i cant se much advantages over IE7 at all ..i myself only used IE7 once, , as dt i htink said in a previou thread.. all MS coulda done was implement these tabs into IE6, apart from that, nothing much has changedd in the options panel,  an they coulda added the security into IE6 ..

I've uninstalled IE7 and now I have 2 icons on my quickstart directing to IE6. One with the IE6 logo and the other with the IE7 one :p. Apart from that my address bar seems to be acting weird sometimes. If I type in an address it shows the new address, then it somtimes goes back to the old one that was in there and then back to the new one o.O.

they added more support for the web standards in IE7. It's still not very good, but it's better.

the only real problems i've found with IE7 are liveable till they get fixed in another releace

i found that if a popup window is opened, you don't want to close it or it will crash your IE, doesn't really bother me

sometimes, but not always, theres a text box that lags like crazy. really depends on the site

and when you try to "restore las tab group" IE crashes, but i just don't use that feature:P

but overall i like the new look, the tabs, and some of the other new features

but my real reason for creating this thread was to see if microsoft is trying to remove anybodys msghelp.net from being there homepage using teh Malicious Software Removal Tool ?

they couldnt have done that by making a patch or somehting that did the same job in IE6?

People already bashed Microsoft for not working on IE anymore so they had to bring a new one to compete with FF and Opera.

What the hell? I hope you reported this to Microsoft, that's uterly ridiculous.

Yeah... I'd report it to Microsoft cause there's not much else you can do... I dunno... If I was you i'd start using Firefox or Opera (haven't tried that one).... I use AOL Explorer or firefox... works well.

I just tried doing the same thing in an IE7 freshly instaleld and the links were not modified. Let's hope it was a stupid mistake they already fixed.
