[FIXED]HELP! No CDDA! by YottabyteWizard on 04-09-2006 at 05:14 AM

OK! I need some help!

I don't want to format/reinstall my whole system because...

1) I'm running a webserver atm
2) I have 120 GBs of unburned files

and my problem is...

I can't play any Audio CD on my computer, i don't know when started the problem since I have everything on MP3, but 2 days ago I wanted to hear a CD a friend of mine gave me, and was unable to do this. When I try to play the disc...

WinAmp:

Windows Media Player:

It can play single files if I just select a track from Explorer.

Any thoughts?

EDIT: BTW, it's not the disc, it's the same problem with all the discs.

Noup, I cleaned the drive, and all the discs are played like normal (Data CDs, Video CDs, ...) again, the only problem are Audio CDs.

Tried using Digital and Analog extraction, no one worked. :S

Thank you, i managed to get it to work.

I found one Unknown Device, but all my drives showed up and also all the codecs... I just uninstalled that Unknown Device, restarted my computer and it works now =)
