I asked everyone on these here forums about a year ago If they heard of An oz hip hop group called Hilltop hoods. There new album came out on the 8th of april they know No1 on album charts.

Have you peeps heard of em yet???
This is mainly directed to people in australia but overseas hip hop followers maybe u heard of em!

I not condoning the download of the album but if no way u getting hands on it legally u can deffinetly download it Via torrent.

This is mainly just for my personel research as after one year and a new album if this group been finnaly heard by a wider audience other than an Adeladian were they come from.

Secondly, what charts are you talking about? I gather charts from ARIA for both singles and albums for work but they aren't on the top of it. o.o

They are played on Triple J pretty regularly, although I am not a fan. I'm not a fan of Hip Hop in general.

nah, i dont, cause i havent lived in aus for 6 years now i had to move to the netherlands with my parents when i was 14. so i dont really know any other artists.

Thats to bad man the scene over here is massive now. You ever heard of "All city"??? the show was awesome  pegz and Muph and plutonic rocked the show..

I have lived in Australia all my live and i have not heard of any of those bands. Are they like small underground bands? Because i dont hear them on the radio tv anywhere.

As I said before Hilltop hoods are the first Oz group to make it atleast semi big all the others are out there and can be found if u look for it. Bliss N eso could also be heard on radio but most peeps don't like them anymore since they sold out to a new record company.

But as I said before and others to they can be heard on the radio but not all stations.

ADELAIDE IS THE HIP HOP STATE OF OZ

Dude last nite The co-owner of OBese records the biggest Hip-hop label in Oz proclaimed that Adelaide was the Hip hop central of Australia. I meen that is not something to take litely He has some of the best acts in Oz signed to him...
