Well, the title is self explanatory... I need a logo made for my Steelers fanclub, its called "Regios de Acero" ( )....

Basically I'm asking anybody with graphic design skills to lend me a hand in the creation of the concept of such logo...

Im attaching the logo and the helmet of the Pittsburgh Steelers so you can have an idea of the color pattern and such...

If you could smooth the yellow red and blue stars, i think it would look better, but its omars logo oh and "regios de acero" silver colored will look great..

Hmmm my attempts so far: (click them for a large version, but note how they look small (not that good atm ))

They both look alright , and they both compress well (i don't use that many colours)
However the text loses definition when they are shrunk down, and one doesn't work in greyscale.

If you like them so far, i'll probably redo the stars (i made them smaller, then resized, so they lost some sharpness), maybe workout some better text, and fix the dodgy bits of the helmet transparancy bit
They could also do with a border but i left it out of the big version (so it doesn't get fubared on resize) and forgot to add it on the little previews.

....... i mean i was doing college work

well.. something quick to do before bed i guess...

typical.. i spend 5 minutes on photoshop to do this, and spend ages trying to get the imageshack page to load properly...

this one is not bad too... omar will have some good logos =)

I personally like SSD's and gif83's 1st attempt (for the shadows)

But as a logo, i think id keep SSD's ...







... though there are a few things i can think of improving

yeah... why not... looks a bit steeler-hating... =P

I don't think any so far have really been that great to use as a logo for something like that. In my opinion, a logo should be 1 simple image that is easily recognisable, so if you see it you can think: "Oh that's that logo for Omars site!"
