erm it's my first time using this and i'm stuck, when i go on my msn, msn plus is fine but when i try to talk to people it signs me out of msn!!
does anyone know why it's doing this??
nd how can i stop it doing it??

i can't explain it better because it just signs me out when i try and talk to people! ma sister says it doesn't affect her why is it doing it to me?

Anyway, which version of msn and messenger plus are you using jenny. Also tell me what extentions you are using if any.
Most probably its a connection problem (either on your side or the server side) so it should go away .... but you can goto the msn options -> network and run the connection problems check to clear out any mistakes if possible on your side

Messenger Plus! sounds an unrelated issue. Most likely it is a problem with the messenger servers. Your sister signs in fine, because her passport may connect to a different server but your password connects to an other. You just have to wait until the problem is fixed

Goto MSN Messenger > Tools > Options > Connection > Start Troubleshooter
Run it and it should solve the problem

jenny14, uninstall SmileyCentral
And if you previously used the handwriting plugin please delete handwriting.dll from plugins folder (C:\Program Files\MessengerPlus! 3\Plugins). You don't need it for MSN 7.5, see Cookie's reply to help me set up handwriting plugin??.
