The Lost Experience? by hypedupmonkey on 05-04-2006 at 05:03 PM

I was just wondering if anyone is taking part in this?
Seeing as there maybe fans of Lost on this site I was wondering if anyone would like to form a 'group' to try and solve what ever the mystery is...?

Share answers and such...?

Jin wakes up, and it was all a dream? I know it's a daft idea, but I think it would be at least the only way to explain all the weird stuff.

I'm really not sure what you're talking about... be a bit more specific please :p.

I'm trying to do the Dharma Initiative thing atm though :p

Has anyone been watching the new episodes both aired in USA and the UK and noticed an advert for 'The Hanso Foundation'?

RE: The Lost Experience? by user27089 on 05-04-2006 at 05:15 PM

I noticed that advert and posted about it... There is an image of a guy in it that is in the Dharma Initiative video.

Yes, heres a tip.

visit www.thehansofoundation.org.
Enter the site,
Click Newsletter (Sign up) along the left hand side.
In the box type "Breaking Strain" (Without quotations).
When asked if able to read, type yes and then breaking strain again.

Tell me what you think after.

RE: The Lost Experience? by user27089 on 05-04-2006 at 05:21 PM

RE: The Lost Experience? by hypedupmonkey on 05-04-2006 at 05:27 PM

I'll google it later,
Also, if you look at the active projects. The "MFI" one, at the top. The country and capital have been scribbled out (top box)

"Joops Corner"
Send a message to joop, type anything and then click send. it sends you to a game of "Link the genes". Just click the highlighted genes to link them then click the red one once appeared. It brings up two documents, click the signature on the first to view the second then click the highlighted name to return back.

After that, watch the webcam for a while. it changed to show a man/monkey figure. Tell me what you think of this.

I have to go now, I'll be back about 9:30 to report anything new.

i dont like the credibility of the bigspaceship site... it seems dodgy to me

RE: The Lost Experience? by wj on 05-04-2006 at 06:31 PM

bigspaceship.com is a disney/abc run server :-P It's legit.

I've poked through the entire hanso site and poked through all the hidden things. We'll just have to see.

btw. the newsletter password is break strain if I'm not mistaken.

RE: The Lost Experience? by hypedupmonkey on 05-04-2006 at 07:16 PM

"Breaking Strain"

I have also noticed, there is an "Inquire Today" button on the Mental Health Appeal for active projects. Anything typed gets the connection timed out message, so it seems info from someone from the VIK institute is needed.

I've only tuned into the second series, yet in one of the first two episodes. Hurley mensions on being in a pysch ward...any link?

BTW, For all those that do not know "The Lost Experience" is a new alternate reality game from the creators of Lost and developed by 3 International TV networks launched in the UK on 2nd May 2006 alongside the UK premiere of Season 2 and in the US on 3rd May 2006 during the Two for the Road episode.

I found a website, featuring most of the info called www.thelostexperience.com.

They have some MP3 files of the phone calls made which featured the numbers from the Hanso Foundation adverts on tele. Thats were breaking strain is from.
A female voice can also be heard to say "What you are doing on Sri Lanka is wrong". Im not sure if this was mentioned in series one but could this mean that the Lost island is a small island off the coast of Sri Lanka?
This would not tie in with The Mathamatic Forecasting Intiative being the Dharma Intiative as the MFI is in Africa and if so, Dharma in Sri Lanka.
Again, i didn't watch the first series so this mean have already been cleared up where they are

I suggest a check out and see if anything else can be found.

RE: The Lost Experience? by Discrate on 05-05-2006 at 04:48 AM

I dont get it. So is that hanso coperation part of the show or is it a real company? Also you know there ad that was on one of the lost episodes and it had a phone number on it. It is a really phone number.

RE: The Lost Experience? by surfichris on 05-05-2006 at 06:45 AM

It is created by the producers of Lost.

Yes, it is really a US phone number too and there are also UK and AU versions of it.

RE: The Lost Experience? by hypedupmonkey on 05-05-2006 at 06:22 PM

Not got anywhere yet but I have found other sites that may have some form of insite.

Theres more sites to it than just thehansofoundation.org,
Might help finding some Login and Password for the Board of Directors on Hanso.
Same for looking for info on the VIK institute.

I found this though
http://www.oceanic-air.com
First, notice the amount of seats, Is the numbers...
If you click the find button, it brings up a page of the layout of the plane.
If you click the preboard check-in, it gives you an anagram of ETHAN ROM which can be arranged to give OTHER MAN.

This shows a clip and various unlocked features on the plane.
I am going to carry on and mess around. See what I can find

Also, Economy class 11-42F flashes at the bottom. Upon clicking this it shows a clip of the plane crashing.

**Update**

I think this is a trailer to the Lost series 1 rather than in conjuction with The Lost Experience.

I survived a horrific plane crash and am stranded on an island somewhere Northeast of Australia and Southwest of Hawaii. In the event that I am never found, please forward word of my fate to my parents.
