I'm a new MSN Messenger user, I only chat with my sister who lives in Thailand.  When we IM, we faced some different features that one has but not for another. 

For instant, I can change my font from the bar right above the typing window but she hasn't had one.  We found that she has Messenger Plus but mine is Messenger 7.5 version.

I would like to know what is the different between them? which one is the newest version?  and if I want to update my 7.5 to M Plus, how can I do that?

msgplus canot run without msn messenger.

there are a diffrent programs, so you cant compare them.

Kevinlau7, I think I've got your point.. I download Windows Live Messenger on my office computer... and I quite not like it.

Tony: so, if I would like to have M Plus, I just do add-on for my 7.5 version?

Hey, welcome to the forums.

Let me start by answering your question.

MSN Messenger and Msg Plus! are not two messenger clients.

Msg Plus! is an add-on which you can download and install on your MSN Messenger client to get some extra feature that your sister has.

If you would like to have all the features, you can download Msg Plus! right here : http://www.msgplus.net
