I've never like Sven Goran Ericksson to be honest though, I think hiring him was a severe mistake. I think Rooney is good but not that good, so him being out will only drop the chances a bit.. I want to see how Theo Walcott will play in the matches, if he plays really well then we may have a chance :p.

I will support Englan, but they will get knocked out in the quarter-finals. Unless Sven puts Gerrard in a better position they will have no chance. He needs to score goals like the one in the FA Cup Final.
Brazil will win for sure though. The final will be Brazil and either Argentina/Portugal or France.

Mexico won't be champions on anything if they don't change their posture on field.. I've seen quite a few matches and I find the mexican national team way too agressive. Plus, even though they have a good team, they won't go through any of the major european countries..

I think this year's big surprise will be the USA.

I especially dont like Raul (for the past 3-4 years) I was a fan but of late he plain and simple sucks. If it were up to me he'd been dropped from the Real Madrid team. I liked him back when he had the edge. Now he doesnt have those strikers instincts. He missed a simple tap in last year in the CL and i was like ffs drop him from the team. But the managers cant since he is a spanish hero and their national teams captain. I know how it feels cause the same thing happens to our cricket team. Hard decisions have to be taken. Our selectors did.
