Quite a lot of stuff but as my laptop only has 40GB I had to convert all to just 96kbps bitrate which is annoying, although for my ipod they are  stored at 192kbps. On my laptop speakers it's hard to notice a difference in quality anyway.

And how many of these songs were downloaded legally?

Nil

A bit over 12.4 GB, and I'm not really sure about the time.

In all honesty I very rarely download music illegally. I do download the occasional B-side that is tricky to get or quite rare etc. I do rip a few friends' cds also, but the majority of the music is legitimately paid for.

I have a huge album collection (about 450-500) and to be honest I spend far too much money on music.

About 9 gigs in other comp, in the lap about .75 - 1 gig
other pc about 2 gigs

I had a lot more than I do now, but I forgot to back up my new collection before I formatted a couple weeks ago.

Amarok tells me:

Size: Doesn't say

What's weird is Ubuntu tells me I have more songs than that. Selecting my music folder and clicking properties, it says:
Number of files, not songs, but I only have songs in the folder: 4237

Aargh my music hdd crashed recently so most of my music is gone

I only have 3512 songs in 28.84GB left
that's 22days 13hrs 17mins and 28secs

Music: 43.39GB, 7257 songs, 19.5 days (which it think may be wrong, it seems oddly short).
