I want to find this painting by lordy on 05-28-2006 at 07:56 AM

Today we had study lectures for our exams and stuff, and in one of the slides there was a painting that was showing a gestalt principle, of closure or something like that. anyway, the painting was of what appeared to be two faces made from ribbons... but if you look closer you notice that it's the one ribbon. the ribbon is in a spiral shape and the folds in the ribbon are shaped to make them look like faces.

anyway, i think she said the painting was called 'bonded union' or something of the sorts, but i can't find it anywhere, so i'm thinking that i may have heard her wrong... does anyone know what painting i'm talking about and what it's called?

hmmm... to me it sounds like something by Escher maybe... try doing a little research on him?

its called "Bond of Union" not "Bonded Union" :P

yeah... i really like Escher myself, ive got a couple of posters in my room, thats what made me suggest it in the first place.. i love the ever-famous room with stairs everywhere...
