Is this happening to all of your contacts, or is it only happening to that contact you've marked? (LIUKS) If so, please check again if you really have the latest, unpatched version of MSN Messenger, which is carrying build number 7.5.0324.

If that is all correct, I would have no idea how that's possible.

(Maybe a silly question, but are you sure that LIUKS does have a personal message? )

They could of coloured their personal message white It is a Plus! feature

The same problem here guys. It's very strange.

I managed to ensure, that messenger plus causing it and it's irreversible so far.

The problem remains and after the total uninstallation of plus.

I tried to uninstall msn 7.5 too and install live messenger but didn't solved

The strange thing is, that i've been using messenger plus for about 3-4 months all the time and it first happened 4 days ago.

I also formated my windows,i even changed the windows setup (i have 1 windows xp pro english, 1 greek win xp pro) but the problem is the same...

I have to say, that sometimes, when uninstall and reinstall messenger plus and msn 7.5, the personal messages starting to appear again but by the next restart of msn, the problem begins again

Try upgrading to WLM  at: http://download.microsoft.com/download/3/e/0/3e04...tall_Messenger.exe

That may resolve your problem.

IF you see a - after the nickname and no psm(personal message) then they could have typed "alt+0160" to get that. If they dont have any - after the nickname thats pretty sure they have disabled to show thier psm.

I found out, that this problem is caused somehow by zone alarm...

I have Zone Alarm Suite installed and yesterday i uninstalled it for a reason.

Then, i found out that personal messages came back
