How do I strip audio from a .wmv file?  Does anyone know?  I want to ssave an audio track from the wmv

In the "volume control" thingy choose recording and select "mixed output" as the source. Then when you hit record in whatever app (i.e. sound recorder) you'll record what you hear from the speakers.



Perhaps I should go into a bit more detail. Load the volume control (double click the speaker icon in the system tray or load it via the control panel), choose "advanced controls" from the options menu, select recording and tick the mixed output box (might be a "mono mix" and "stereo mix"... I should think you'd prefer stereo). Check the "select" checkbox beneath the mixed output volume (and make sure the volume isn't down at 0) and you're good to go.
