batch/bulk deencrypting of log files. by grrowl on 06-05-2006 at 10:47 AM

Basically, the situation is that i have 8 months worth of encrypted log files, but I'd like to deencrypt them. I have the password and everything and can currently view the files with no problems, but i'd like to be able to search them.

If anyone is able to tell me if there is any kind of command-line options for the log viewer that will allow me to do this, or if Patchou (i know, everyone asks for him) or anyone in-the-know can shed some light on the situation i'd be greatful :)

Thanks everyone.

Thank you ever so much :D

Woah! New roadblock -- doing it that way doesn't do any of the log files in my archived-by-month directories, only the ones in the log root directory.

Since I have quite a lot of months, does anyone have any ideas ?
