Try again, i have the same problem, but reload the file 2 or 3 times again ;)

You need .NET Framework to activate Add-ins :)

You need .NET Framework to activate Add-ins :)

Normally if you do not have the .net framework, you get a msgbox on opening the addins dialog.

If it is greyed out this is what you must do:

First, restart messenger. Sometimes it does show the first time you try

Second, reinstall messenger. I have had friend who have had this problem and we diagnosed that it was due to them using various patches. Reinstalling message will remove the effert of the patches.

The easiest way to resintall messenger would be to goto your control panel, click add/remove programs, locate Windows Live Messsenger in the list, click change. Then when the dialog appears, click repair.

This should solve the problem :)
