is there some database in which the addresses of all msn messenger users can be found?

yes, it is a database, but there's no way you can see it.

I'm  looking for someone's e-mail address, I thought this tricky way might help, but seems like I'm unlucky... :)

Looks like a way to try and find emails through the MSN Database by telling them a first/last name or something of the sort that would belong to the contact your looking for.

the last release is june 2003, so its most likly very out dated

It found my brothers email address.... it had WAAAAY too many results though.... I typed in groessl as the base... and went 1-200... and it started with groessl1@hotmail.com and went until i stopped it around groessl50... :p but my brothers is groessl22 so yeah :p his was there, and it worked.
