um, those are NOT $70 they like 15, i have one,

its not to be use for security, but for conviniance, the program doesn't always pick up the login boxes

Yer the managed testing is over finally after many months, here is the email.

managed beta testers are the only beta testers. Everybody else was just using the beta.

Well it was a big BETA in terms of it was a new program so it wants to be good. Webcam we got last time still treating me well, come on Microsoft, give us some stuff.

Some testers have been speculating weither we'll get one of those new voip phones, regardless of what we get it's been fun testing :). Can't wait till the next beta cycle.

Uh, I didn't get the mail, I think I'm not a managed beta tester. But how you become managed beta tester? By signing on connect.microsoft.com ?

its a pre-releace version of the final WLM, written out in Binary on a sheet of paper, with the words, some assembaly required

That means that there's only a internal celebration in Microsoft France but no information about the release so will be probably delayed again

Also the andyman, a guy with a great eye for news has noticed it was a rumored release date for Windows Live Mail plus the new @live and @windowslive domains will come out the next day. But over the last week all these rumors that have been revelaed were not true and have given the websites a bad reputation e.g. Win Future and The Hotfix. :P

I think people really need to find better sources, how do they even know the launch party is that day and then come to conclusions. The release maybe be before that date or after .... Well at least I think that, I would of thought they would of had a party after a release.

For @live.com and @windowslive domains it wasn't a rumor. It was posted on http://mail-support.spaces.msn.com but it was deleted few hours after...

What has been quoted previously actually says it's not going to be released the 19th, but is a celebration.

yeah of course :D im anxious to see if the final of WLM works on my computer... with the beta i had problems like; it was slower than 7.5, it freezed,... :'(

The only way to know for sure if you're a managed beta tester, which I don't believe you are givin the date of that e-mail, is go to http://connect.microsoft.com, sign-on, clicked My Participation and if WLM 8.0 is listed there, then you're a managed tester.

But I went on connect.Microsoft.com and didn't had WLM in My Participation but I saw on this forum a lot of people are managed beta testers. How do they make you managed? By random?

no, you signed up earlyer by submiting your e-mail address, they microsoft picks you, the live recrutment is not the managed testing program
