I'm using Messenger Plus with the OLD Windows Messenger 5.1, because I use it with SIP connectivity for work IM.

The first week or so, it logged messeges just fine - now it just stopped! Is this a known problem??

Which version of Messenger Plus! are you using?

I'm using 3.63.148

I hope chat logging is enabled for you.

How do I enable or disable Chat Logging?

To enable or disable Chat Logging for every chat, do the following:

1. In your Messenger main window (contact list), select the "Plus!" menu, and then select "Preferences...". A new window, called "Messenger Plus! - Preferences" will appear.


2. On the left side of the "Messenger Plus! - Preferences" window, select the "Logging" section. You will now see all the Chat Logging settings.

3. To activate Chat Logging for every chat, check the "Automatically log all my chats by default" box. To deactivate Chat Logging uncheck the "Automatically log all my chats by default" box.


4. Click on the "OK" button, at the bottom of the window.

Note: You can also select to turn on/off chat logging for certain contacts. To do this press the "Select..." button under the "Automatically log all my chats by default" box to select which contacts.
