reading pop3 email via web by rix on 06-16-2006 at 02:54 PM

Hey!

Now, i have a little problem. Im using one email server that doesn't have it's own webmail and when im going abroad, i need to use one. So, is it possible to set up some kind of client to my web server so i could easily browse my emails in other server via webmail client, which is set up in my server?

Never messed with stuff like this. :(

I don't know nothing like that, but why don't you just take a little POP3 client with you? Check MagicMail.

Point is, that when im abroad, im only visiting public internet. In many places, only web browsing is allowed. That's why. :)

Else i could just use putty or some kind of SSH client.

Damn, it sucks when you don't have laptop. (N)

Forward all incoming mail to hotmail or wichever other you use (if possible without having to import them in your e-mail client first)?

Nope. No control panel or what so ever... only username and password to read emails. :(

NOCC is almost what im looking for. Works well with regular e-mail service providers, but not with mine. :( "Could not connect to server", with any kind of connection. Well, i'll keep on looking then.

Thanks!

That works, thank you! :D

SquirrelMail doesn't support POP3 connection and Horde.. dunno, i had some problem with adding users in Horde.

Hm, if i only could snap the code mail2web is using. (A)
