Kick plugin by Bullion on 06-18-2006 at 09:11 PM

Hey!

I am wondering if it is possible to make a plugin that makes it possible to kick anyone when you are talking with many guys in one window?

What do you mean by kick?.... if you mean kick them out of the conversation I'm not exactly sure if it's been done/possible....

If it's that bad leave the conversation and start a new one without the person.

I heart that if you type .pif in a conversation it kicks everyone out. But all I get is a lost connection error and I'm the only one that gets kicked out, but you can try it...

The protocol doesn't allow you to kick someone from a chat.

It's still stupid how it allows someone who you've blocked to be added by someone else to the conversation - something to stop that would be handy.

I just mentioned this problem in the private Messenger beta chat we had with part of the development team. They said basically if things like that are enough suggested, they see what they can do about it. In other words, they never knew it was such a big issue with many people as it hasn't been reported that much before.

So I'd suggest to suggest to MS to add a "always ask for confirmation before I'm added to a group convo"-option.

;)

Link? maybe? :P

RE: Kick plugin by CookieRevised on 06-19-2006 at 11:46 PM

Go to the official site where you download messenger from and click on help or feedback (left or bottom links)... both the official messenger page as the beta messenger pages contains links to those feedback forms, you can't miss them

And in the Windows Live Messenger Beta there even was a direct feedback menu item in the Help menu also.

Don't be lazy :p;)

better is a feature, that a windows comes, than you invite to a conversation, if you go into it or not ^^

like here > click me baby < xD

I hope someone didn't get inspiration from MTV tv show meet or delete (clicky) (From pre-clip at end, where girl says her choose on msn)
