Messenger Plus! website Flash Player detection by rav0 on 06-20-2006 at 06:15 AM

When I visit the Messenger Plus! website, I see the HTML navigation with a message telling me to get Flash Player, instead of the Flash navigation.

I have the latest Flash Player, and it is used for the movie on the left of the page.

In this screenshot, I have the menu open from the movie that works, and the HTML navigation.

I'm using Opera 8.54 and Internet Explorer Beta 2 on Windows XP.

yeah sorry about that, it was made temporarily while we are working on the new site. That's because of the Flash security patch in IE which caused the bar to function not as originally intended.

I see.

Perhaps the message to get Flash Player should be removed, and the rest of the normal HTML navigation left there. Even permanantly this is acceptable, because the enhanced Flash content did nothing useful more than the plain HTML substitute does.
