1. I'm not sure that has relevance to this thread TBH.
2. The screenshot on that page is old.

I got that error momentarily earlier when everything was just being megaslow. It resolved itself though.
If only there was a proper tech support location for this product, instead of the Space.

In what way? It works on mine (apart from a whole raft of bugs).

sais error installing it.

RE: Windows Live Mail Desktop by Fanta on 06-23-2006 at 10:10 PM

It works perfectly for me! If you leave out the fact that it opens everything but my actual inbox *-)   So I went back to using outlook. Blah.

In all honesty, I'm not too fond of live mail desktop, too many bugs apparently.

I went to http://ideas.live.com/programpage.aspx?versionId=...-a897-e36dd191a9f4 and clicked feedback and it gives me a list of services but it doesn't show Windows Live Mail Desktop, it shows Windows Live Mail though.

I like Gmail better with Google Talk and the Gmail Updater program.

Let me guess: you were checking only Hotmail and GMail accounts.

I like it: it's set up to check 6 POP3 accounts, two Hotmail accounts (though only the WLM one works, the still-Hotmail one doesn't - to be expected), and one IMAP account. Not only that, but I moved a message sent to GMail to my Windows Live Reference box :D:D:D

Edit: Though it's slow and buggy, but it's a friggin' beta, so whaddya expect after all?
