RE: [REQ] User Actions? by matty on 06-25-2006 at 08:12 PM
Its not that easy because you are not provided with any information from the protocol. RE: [REQ] User Actions? by Dave// on 06-25-2006 at 08:14 PM ohhhh hmmmm ahhhhhh but its good and useful? RE: [REQ] User Actions? by Voldemort on 06-25-2006 at 08:17 PM yes, but its an invasion of privacy and the "<nickname>has closed the conversation" is no longer reliable due to the protocol... RE: [REQ] User Actions? by deAd on 06-25-2006 at 08:17 PM You can do it based on DP handling, but it's not reliable anymore. RE: [REQ] User Actions? by CookieRevised on 06-25-2006 at 09:40 PM
quote:No you can not (unfortunatly).... Because it isn't reliable anymore you even have no clue what-so-ever to even guess if it was a genuine closed/opened conversation or not. This said, statements like "it works, but isn't reliable" are wrong and they should simply be: "It does not work at all anymore...period". You have a better chance in guessing random numbers than being able to determine if a open/closed window notification was correct or not. |
