Tab names... Notifications issues by zamalkawy4ever on 06-26-2006 at 10:27 PM

I noticed the following:

  1. When I use tabs, the tab title shows the name chosen by the contact, not the nickname chosen by the user. This  is terrible! At least the user should have to choose what name he wants to use: the original one or the one assigned to the contact.
  2. Not every time messenger Plus! senses the status changes of contacts!
Thus Contact Information is not acurate and this also prevents notifications from working properly.
  3. I used vimdome.wma sound from Messenger Live to notify me of some user's change of status. Sometimes I get the notification with no sound! And most of the time I don't get the notification at all!

1. When Patchou can retrieve nicknames, toasts will be able to use them.
2. This has appeared during beta testing, and so many fixes have been made already. Can you reproduce it?
3. IIRC, MP!L cannot play WMA sounds.

I didn't quite get what you said in (2).
Concerning (3): I know. The funny thing is that it sometimes work!

Thanks a lot for your concern.
