Hi everyone!
I need your help with what to do?? I have installed MP!L and nothing works??? No commands work, (!IP) doesnt work.... And In the plus menu these are the sub menus:
(In Order From Top To Bottom)

Enable Chat Logging
Open Chat Log...
Auto Accept Requests
Override Contacts font
Find Text...
Contact Information
Insert Special Tag >
Insert Format Tag >
Send Command
Preferences


When i go to insert a format tag or a Special Tag i click on it nothign appears...
I try /patchou nothing happens..
I click on the plus sign (above where you write your text) nothing happens...
I click on the sign for inserting a sound...nothing happens
Nothing works!!!
I have re-installed 4 times nothing changes????????
I have talked to various members on MSN asking for commands to try, none work.
I downloaded a mirror, doesnt work...still the same.

I need help!

Uninstall Messenger Plus! Live
Uninstall Windows Live Messenger

Make sure C:\Program Files\MSN Messenger and C:\Program Files\Messenger Plus! Live folders are deleted.

Clear Internet Temporary Files

Download Messenger Plus! Live from here
Install Messenger Plus! Live

Download Windows Live Messenger from here
Install Windows Live Messenger

EDIT: Doesnt work

Try what Chris4 said, but also try cleaning all your settings. So:

Uninstall Messenger Plus! Live.
Uninstall Windows Live Messenger.
Restart your computer.

Make sure C:\Program Files\MSN Messenger and C:\Program Files\Messenger Plus! Live folders are deleted.

Go to Start > Run, type "%appdata%\Microsoft" and click OK. Rename the "MSN Messenger" folder there (your emoticons, DPs, etc. are here with changed file extensions).

Go to Start > Run, type "regedit" and click OK. Look for the following keys and delete them (you might want to export them first):
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Patchou
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Patchou
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\MSNMessenger
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\MSNMessenger
NOTE: Always be very careful when editing the registry, make sure you only delete those keys.

Reinstall Windows Live Messenger and Messenger Plus! Live, making sure you install the latest versions:
Windows Live Messenger 8.0.0792.00
Messenger Plus! Live 4.0.0.235

If it doesn't work, try restarting your PC again.

If it still doesn't work, you can restore your settings by importing the saved registry files and renaming the "MSN Messenger" folder in %appdata%\Microsoft back to its original name.

Exactly like that, select Export and save the file somewhere, then right-click it again and select Delete.

Done Is that it? now i re install for the 5th time?

Yes. I updated my post. Some users have reported that rebooting after installing worked, so you should also try that if it doesn't work right away.

Go to C:/Program Files/MSN Messenger and delete "riched20.dll" if its there .

Erm, if you tried uninstalling and removing the folders before, then you already had removed that file if it was there. If you followed my steps, then my solution worked.

Oh, ok then.

Patchou is working on a new version of Plus! Live. I had that problem but after the new BETA it fixes everything!
