Windows Media Player question? by jordanspringer on 06-30-2006 at 03:31 AM

Has anyone ever found this an annoyance when using Windows Media Player 9 and above:
I like to listen to music, by sometimes opening a folder and just choosing songs one after another. like when one finishes i open another i want to listen too. i know i can create playlists but i dont really ever use em.

But when you click on a song file to open, and windows media player is minimized in the task bar, it redisplays windows media player everytime. is there a patch or a way to open songs without media player displaying, and just stay minimized?

no, my WMP is already minimized into my task bar like that screenshot above, i'm using the WMP toolbar. but everytime i click on a new file to play a song, windows media player pops up and i always have to minimize it. it gets annoying when ur just clicking around listening to songs, always having to re-minimize media player
