Similar to hopper really, but I never got the hang of that tbh.
Those little toasts by your clock could make great annoncements, so how about something where it brings up a box to all of your contacts tellin them a short message like "Hey! Hope Y'all Ok!" or "Click Here For New MP! Live News" with a link to MP! Live's news page?
I'm sure that could be done.

I'm not sure if you can display customized toasts on other people's WLM. It could probably be done only for people who have that particular script, but then again I might be wrong.

Sure you can... the hopper plug-in for MSN 7.5 could do this I think...

Its not possible. What hopper did was just change your nick and then appear offline and go back, making a "has signed in" box appear. Hopper added a ton of spaces after your nickname to make the "has just signed in" part of the message go invisible.

how about when the convo box opens it automatically brings up a link that they dont need to click (eg. similar idea to the streaming sound script)...?

I think you can do:
1. Remove Display Picture
2. Set Appear Offline
3. Change your name + ton of spaces
4. Set Online
repeat from 2 to 4 for a few times (I don't know if there's server limitations) and then back to your DP and your realName!
I'm trying to do similar thing.. but I have problem with "AppearOffline-Online"... it seems doesn't work well 
This is the script (I'm a noob at JScript)
this should create a EMAIL.dat file in the script folder.
Fill this file with 2 or 3 sentences (1 for every row), like this
code:this should show 3 toasters to contacts
