is Google Earth + really faster? by jordanspringer on 07-05-2006 at 03:48 AM

hey i'm considering buying google earth plus for $20. it offers many new features but one i'm conserned about. if promotes "faster network access". so i'm just wondering if anyone here or anyone you know has got google earth plus, and is it really a big difference in network preformance or not?

I don't find it any faster than the free version, I just have it for my GPS device :P

hmm that sucks, i have a 6.0megabit connection, and the free version is somewhat fast, but still has some lags from time to time,  iwas just hoping it would speed it up, if it was noticible i'd pay the 20$

no, the free version is completely free. and there is a plus version for $20 that offers some new features and "improved network access" i'm just wondering if its worth the $20 for improved network access, like would the images really load much quicker than they do on the free version. because for some cities, for the image to load at 100% clarity it can take up to 15 seconds or longer, i know thats not much but if it can be even faster i'd pay $20 if it was noticible
