Yes, but the last time i used it it had a memory leak
so i switched to Firefox, great browser btw

Firefox is a derivative of the original netscape (mozilla) code.

Technically, firefox is a fork of a derivative of a modification of an alpha of the original netscape code.

You have to consider that it depends on what you like to have they are both different and do different things.

I prefer Firefox, but as of which is better? Dunno, it's still the subject of alot of argument.

yeah good old netscape, it was the first browser to be publically published 11 years back.
i read "the world is flat" by Tom Friedman, which says its the second "flattener" of the world. good book that.
