Hyperlink in display name by Llama_dude on 07-13-2006 at 04:56 PM

Right, my good friend does a radio show on the internet, and when hes on air, he has on his display name : "on air!" and then the link to the site...
i was wondering if it was possible to put an actualy hyperlink in a display name? this would really help him out. As im still learning, i thought the nice people here would help me :P

A script won't help, as it requires his contacts to have it, so he need to send it to all of them.
I think MP!L has something that might help (at least MP!3 has it):
Right click on the contact --> Messenger Plus! --> Open internet link
(Probably not the exact words, retranslated it to English)

EDIT: Just found this script. Hope this can help.

Actually you dont need a script to open internet links. MP!L has a link catcher built in. Just right click on a name -> Messenger Plus! Features -> Open Internet Link, and it will show you all the links in the name.

I haven't tried the Link Catcher script so I don't know what it does differently.

MP!L does this. The only thing that script above does, is those links in the conversation window

Both of you quoted the WHOLE post and somehow forgot the first part where I pointed him to the open internet link feature of MP!L...

I've just seen the script later and thought it might help mentioning it.
