Nice and what JA suggests would be brilliant and like RacePro says if it said sumthing like the amount of disk space you have.(even if it is fake)

-dt-, your class is far more complicated then it needs to be.

You don't need all those fancy API callings to get to the tray icons of messenger.

In fact you don't need to know the handles to the tray icons since the Shell_NotifyIcon API doesn't need them. All it needs is the handle to the window which owns the icon (which is the hidden window with class "MSNHiddenWindowClass") and the identifier used for the tray icon (which is 40046). With this in mind you could make your class a whole lot shorter...

I downloaded your script, CookieRevised, and I remember it saying 'Polygamy warning' of some kind?

With this script you certainly don't have that problem...

But I could've misread/misunderstood

It doesn't say "polygamy warning", it says "polygamy aware" meaning it is fully polygamy compatible.
(which can also be deducted from the 4 lines of code in my script)

Than it was a misread

I was trying /n...thats why it didnt work..

A pretty minor thing, but I noticed that if you change your status to the same as your current status, your tooltip resets to its default. This happens to both -dt-'s new script, and Cookie's script. Any way to get around this?

if i want it to show my name instead of email do i change Messenger.MyEmail to Messenger.MyName, or what?

Edit: never mind, i tried it and it worked

Yes, that exactly what you do I might set mine to my PSM, that might be quite "snazzy"

Requests: I will explain my situation and then what I want... I have 3 messenger accounts... When the 3 messengers start automatically with the poligami! script all is ok... then I try to modify the display of your script for show me the ((custom)) and I got the error of my previous post... and then the effect only get applied to the account I have click on to configurate... when I see the other accounts nothing happens... Then I restart my pc and the configuration wasnt saved... all were like I didn't do anything... then I did the same thing again an I realised that when I put ((custom)) but I haven't any custom status then only appears this "()"...

So my requests are: can you do different configurations for each acount and the saved it forever until you changed it?
can you do that when you have no custom status but in configuration you put the ((custom)) thing, nothing get displayed?

De functie van dit script zit al ingebouwd in de nieuwste Msgplus. Download die en check Msgplus opties -> Messenger -> Algemeen -> Emailadres van huidige gebruiker toevoegen aan icooninfo in systeemvak.
