Add movie clips to what?

RE: Movie clips by jay_bo on 08-01-2006 at 02:23 PM

Msn messenger, not like movie clips but like "lol" like glowing and changing colour.

Custom Emoticons.
And yes, you'll need a graphics editing program like Photoshop.

I do have photoshop, but i have created a animation clip using image ready but it only saves as a ".psd" file format

RE: Movie clips by RaceProUK on 08-01-2006 at 02:37 PM

There should be an option to Export, and one of the export options will be GIF. I would tell you where to find the option, but I've never used Photoshop myself.

In ImageReady (comes with photoshop), after you animate it select Save Optimized As.

RE: Movie clips by jay_bo on 08-01-2006 at 02:52 PM

It only saves 1 frame and in a file format .html

RE: Movie clips by RaceProUK on 08-01-2006 at 02:54 PM

Then you didn't select the right options.

RE: Movie clips by jay_bo on 08-01-2006 at 02:59 PM

There is only 3 choices which are
Html and images
html
images
and they both save as a file fromat .HTML what file format should it be

RE: Movie clips by RaceProUK on 08-01-2006 at 03:04 PM

WTF? That sounds like the wrong export to me. There should be an export option that lists GIF, JPEG, PNG, TIFF etc.

RE: Movie clips by jay_bo on 08-01-2006 at 03:08 PM

well some1 told me 2 "save ompimitzed as" n thts wt i gt. put them file formats u just sed wont they just save them as images because i want to add it to msn and to have them playin

http://www.grafx-design.com/08photo.html describles making a GIF.

RE: Movie clips by gif83 on 08-01-2006 at 03:12 PM

you should save as a GIF image file as it supports animation.

only file formats .bmp .tif .tga .pxr .pcx and .psd

RE: Movie clips by gif83 on 08-01-2006 at 03:33 PM

ok.. do the "save optimised as.." again and save using the "images only" option.

hopefully this will automatically save as GIF format.

RE: Movie clips by jay_bo on 08-01-2006 at 03:34 PM

No it saves it as a .Jpg but it only saves 1 frame

RE: Movie clips by gif83 on 08-01-2006 at 03:38 PM

ah... well go to "window" in the menu, and  choose "optimise" in the dropdown menu.
Then where you see where it says "JPEG" in the optimise palette, choose "GIF" instead.

hope this will solve that problem.

Is there anyway that you could have it as yor picture display

RE: Movie clips by RaceProUK on 08-01-2006 at 03:46 PM

Display Picture? Afraid not. It would eat into BlueMountain, WeeMee and Meego.

RE: Movie clips by gif83 on 08-01-2006 at 03:49 PM

no, you cannot use animated GIF files as your display picture.
