I remember that the filter worked on both sides in the Msg Plus for Windows Messenger.

1) Windows Live Plus filter only works on my messages. Is there a way to make it filter the other person's messages as well?

2) Will they be able to see it?

I can't find the filter feature. If you tell me where it is, I'll check this out for you.

Well, that's the thing.. It doesn't exist, besides the quicktext, which only filters your own typing. Before the live version, there was the function that was actually named "Word Filter".

I'd really like it back.. as I'm a person who doesn't use profanity, or like seeing it. I tried searching for the script, but there was nothing, and I don't know how to make scripts either.

Some features weren't added back yet because they weren't a high priority. This feature was yet to be added.

Uhmm, sorry for the double post, but I'm not sure how to get this script to work. :s

I 'installed' it,  but the quick text filter still don't replace anything the other person says...

It shows the configuration window

can the script be modified so that it works like the quick text, text replacing option?

if a contact says ie) fuck you
it could appear as fu*k you in your window?

or, however you decide you want that word or any other said by a contact displayed

quick text replacment in plus! works fine for your own text sent.
