Hi,

I copy-paste transferred all my chat logs onto my new HDD when I rebuilt and subsequently reinstalled Messenger Plus and this has resulted in all chat log files that were made before the transfer being possibly corrupted.

When I try to open them (aka; double-clicking the .ple files) it brings up a dialog box stating:
"This file hasn't been encrypted by Messenger Plus! (or the file is corrupted)."

Any thoghts/ideas/advice?

if you search the forums you will see that many people already asked about a similar problem. there you can find some suggestions as to what could help.
hopefully one of those can help you, if not. please post again.


HERE cookie advises to update the computer completely, see if that works.

EDIT: after doing a search and looking through the older threads... i see that there might not be a solution to your problem
