stupid thing.
wouldn't let me delete it.
& i went back to msn 7.5, & all my contacts names don't show up
they show up as there emails.
how do i make there names come back?

goto contacts -> view contatcts by -> then select display name...

Hmm, first of all, it isn't called MSN Live. It's Windows Live Messenger.
Where did you download 7.5 after you got WLM?
