Well, i wonder if it's possible to do a plugin where we can choose to keep floating contacts together, with no space between them. If someone goes out and its floating name dissapears, it does pull the contacts above and "glue" them with the ones who stills online, keeping them organized and not scattered on the desktop.

Would be kinda nice... I'm not sure if I'd use it or not though... I'd have to get used to it... as I'm used to just looking to see where the icon is, and by where it is I know who it is.

Made a quick draw to illustrate. Is it possible to do by a plugin? 
If not i wish this to be a suggestion for the next version...
