It works fine, but then after a while it crashes. I don't even have to be doing anything. I can be playing a game, then all of the sudden it crashes. This started happening the other day. I'm not sure why it is happening.

WLM Version: 8.0.0792.00
MP!L Version: 4.01.0.0240
OS: Windows XP Profesional SP1

upgrade to the latest WLM8 which is 8.0.0812 an see if the crashes still remain

btw, the Newer build may not sign you in automatically, ( which is a bug )

I'm not sure either, Jay_Jay also had this trouble but then I think it went away after a while (I haven't asked since he was complaining about it anyway)

I've had this problem since the first official release. I just made a simple script to fix this up.

Yes i had this problem in the old build.. I used msn or web messenger for a month or so and then returned to wlm worked fine..

Try un-installing wlm and then plus and then re-install both... if updating wlm wont work try un and re-installing plus!... might work?

If this is the same problem as Jay_Jay's try using a different user account on your PC (not live ID) and see if the problem happens there as well. It seems to be working for him so I'm not sure what it might be but it seems to be a problem with it being loaded on the computer (like what also seemed to be luke-fish's problem).

I can't. My dad won't let me because it screwed up his computer once. That and I would have to go through all that Genuine Advantage shit.

It may, wlm uses IE alot and SP2 has major fixes for IE

. Also try running a virus scan.
