not really :P my chair makes me lean back so im sitting at a 25-30 degree angle (if being upright was 0 degrees) so i naturally look at my monitor.

My computer looks pretty standard from out side. But take a look under the hood. Its had a lot of money put into it. Only 1GB ram, 256 ATI Radeon G-Card + Tv Out + DVI, 250GB Western Digital 8mb cache hdd + 40gb Slave (my original drive), SAMSUNG DVD-ROM/CD-RW + LITEON DVD-RW. 3D Sound PCI card, internal USB root hub (4 usb, 2 1394) + 6 standard usb & 2 1394. Lets see... what else... lol neon blue PSU fan and case fan. Celeron 2.4Ghz (standard). ASUS Tv Tuner & FM Radio. Thats about it really few peripherals like Logitech 64watt sub woofer and 2 speakers.


New 19" LCD is the next item on my shopping list lol then a gaming bomb case with side panel.

That monitor is a borrowed monitor my LCD's broken -.- The display flashes :@

PS:  I like to keep my desk clean (H)

My computer rests apon my chest of drawers, when i want to use it, i pull a draw half way out for the keyboard and the optical mouse rests on my lap. i do have a desk, doesn't fit in my current bedroom:(

Figured people could attach photographs of what their workstations are currently looking like. This was taken a few moments ago, the picture of Jónsi was painted by my girlfriend and is going to be hung on the wall in a few days (was for our 18 months :p).

The computer in the corner will be gone soon, replaced by a sexy new laptop ;).

Asus EEE PC 901
HP Pavillion Laptop, with an LG external DVD-RW hiding behind it
HP All-In-One under the desk
There's also a Logitech Easy call speaker on the desk, with the matching keyboard and mouse underneath

To the left side there is the pedals for my 360 FF Racing wheel (and some insignificant weights), and to the right my custom built PC (the LEDs did not turn out well in the pic), along with 500GB external IDE HD with enclosure, 80gb iPod and BT Home Hub Router.

hmm, I need to update this thread. I'm at work now, and I'd take a photo if i were allowed, but I'm not, so I'll just describe it instead.

got an L shaped desk that can change height at the push of a button from like 50cm up to 150cm in height.
17" LCD in the corner, Cisco IP phone just to the right. 2 white boards with misc stuff on them on the right wall, customer comment printouts for me on the left. Usually a few beverage bottles around too

EDIT: i suppose an empty workstation is ok...

I always find those really peculiar, do you not feel really claustraphobic in that, or is it more like your own little private space. If I had one of those I'd have to put little pictures and stuff up.

No, its actually quite open. there's cube walls only on 2 sides, rest is quite open. Desk layout zig-zags in diagonal lines. And yes, most people do have lots of stuff on their walls and desks.
