[request] Emotitext by Andrew_H on 08-18-2006 at 03:58 PM

I was wondering if anyone could recreate the Emotitext plug-in as a script. It was my favourite plug-in.

Thank You.:)

I don't know if it helps/solves the problem, but, how about using a script that turns possible to use Plug-ins on WLM???
Take a look about it here

Unfortunatly this script does not support all advanced features yet, so advanced plugins like Phoenix and StuffPlug will not work with it (yet). Keep an eye on it because I am busy with it and I will update the script as soon as it works.

This build, 0.8, supports:
- COM as well as DLL plugins (so all types)
- Basic commands, all commands will be displayed in the command helper window as well as the
script's menu
- The script's custom tags
- Notify code's (for scripts so for example synchronize data)
- Changing the display name through the script
- Adding data to the event log
- Displaying popup notifications
- Sending multiple commands as a response to for example the receivenotify function.

There's an AutoTalker script which lets you easily activate a "talker". Talkers can be a .txt file containing words to replace and their replacements or they can be a .js file with a main function to transform a message. StuffPlug 2 also had an AutoTalker function, and there even was an emotitext talker written for it, so it won't be a hard task to rewrite it to AutoTalker. But if that script doesn't give you the needed requirements, you can always make a separate script of it. ;)

OFFTOPIC: And yet again we bumped a thread! Ah well, it's better than pointing people to this old topic when they create a new one. It saves tid's. :)
