Search string from url list by jabetizo on 08-21-2006 at 11:57 AM

I'm looking for software that searches for a specified string (like google), but will only search from URL list that I specify.

THis can be done in Google by going to Advance Search > Domain

this is funny... i need it to be automated! i have a list of over 500 URLs to search.. also, i never said it needs to be a search engine: it can be a windows application that searches the URLs.. im sure such software exists

EDIT: i didnt see Eljay's reply before posting :)

Eljay: and where can i enter my URL list? :S

I found a good site you could use.

http://www.multi-search-engine.com/

Select up to 4 search engines (ex. Yahoo, Google, MSN and AOL) and search for what you want (ex. 'site:www.google.com business'). The 4 searches will display in frames on 1 page.

Edit: Or.. maybe Rollyo is better :P

Well you click "Create Searchroll" on the main page, but it only supports searching up to 25 websites.

25 isnt enough.. i think you should be looking for software, not an online service
