Shared Folder Error~ >_< by Syber on 09-14-2006 at 04:21 AM

Hey everyone. I need help with my MLM constantly crashing when I use the sharing folder. When I access a file from another peer fully or when someone access my file, my computer crashes and displays the blue screen with the error bad pool data or something like that.

Can somebody help me please >_<

You should try doing a clean re-install of Windows Live Messenger first of all.

Go to Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs then to Windows Live Messenger, press "Change/Remove", then remove the software. Then navigate to C:\Program Files\ and delete the "MSN Messenger" folder.

Next, restart your computer and go to http://get.live.com/messenger/overview and download the latest version of Windows Live Messenger. Now re-install and start over again.

If you're having such a major issue with sharing folders, why not turn them off and accept files as you normall would through the old versions of MSN Messenger?

Thanks ... I'll try doing that. And I just wanted to have this feature because its unique rather than sending files by files. But if it comes down to that, i'll just leave it. Thanks agin.

I am sorry for the double post but even unistalling it won't help me =(

Here is my error:

bad_pool_caller

STOP: 0x000000c2(0x000000007,0x00000CD4,0x00000000,0xFF109184

If anyone can fix this ... I would really appriciate it.

Is there a filename attached to the error message?

I don't think so =(

If it happens again, double-check. There's usually a filename somewhere in the error message.
