You've been promised nothing actually. What has been said is that they will return as soon as possible and if possible, it was never said they will return in version x.

Even in your previous request from 2005, you got the same answer and it still is valid; it will be included if Patchou finds a way to implement them.

It is far from strait forward to implement something like this, eventhough it is already implemented for LTR-language messenger. If it was that easy to go from LTR to RTL support it would have been included long time ago.

Also keep in mind that making Plus! is not easy and takes a full time job. Some stuff needs to be prioritized and some stuff might be harder to implement as foreseen. It is only a one-man's job and he is already working on Plus! more hours each day than an average man spending time at work.

Anyways, as Jay_Jay said, the grouped conversation feature will be in the next release, if all things go as they should be and no bugs are found.

Patchou does everything he can to implement this feature as soon as possible as he too knows that this is a much requested feature and many RTL-users do miss it...

So, be patient, for a little while longer. If all things go well, you will be able to use grouped conversations very very soon ;)
