Firefox and MSN... a raging battle? by sarah_rushton6557 on 09-15-2006 at 06:52 PM

Ok, I'm having the hardest time trying to get Messenger to open all the windows in Firefox ... I know it's possible, I downloaded Messenger Plus! Live and the Stuff plug in .. Firefox is set to my default browser but yet the windows from MSN are still opening up in IE ... please help, someone!

Stuffplug is not yet compatible with Windows Live Messenger.

Are you 100% sure? ... my friend who is very well versed in stuff like this says it is ... but then again they couldn't figure it out either ... is there anything else I can try so that firefox will open everything from windows live messenger?

Erza is certainly right. Stuffplug 3 is still in development and is not compatible with Windows Live Messenger.

edit:
Upon re-reading the original post... are you using MSN, or Windows Live Messenger (WLM)?

MSN + Messenger Plus! + Stuffplug is available.
WLM + Messenger Plus! Live is available.

You can't have MSN with Messenger Plus! Live, so which combination do you have?

If you want Messenger to open all windows in Firefox...

Download MSN Messenger 7.5, Messenger Plus! 3.63.148 and StuffPlug 2; Then set the option.

Alternatively, wait until StuffPlug 3 for Windows Live Messenger to be released.

Note: StuffPlug 3 for WLM no longer needs Messenger Plus! (Live) to run.
