Calling a member... (got a phone?) by MeEtc on 09-18-2006 at 12:09 PM

At my job, I recently filled out a survey for a calling card company, and as a thank you they sent me two cards, one 10 minute and one $2 card, to call anywere in the world. Now, I don't really know anyone to spend these on, so why not waste hem for people who really are halfway around the world?

I am thinking that I might call some people from these forums, providing someone wants to be called to have a chat...

Now, DON"T PASTE YOUR PHONE NUMBER HERE unless you want a bunch of pedaphilles calling you too.

I can probably call 3 or 4 people, depending on the length of the calls. If you are interested, post here and I will make a list of potential people to PM later in the week to get some contact info

The rules:
1. Phone must be a land line (mobile costs more, meaning a really short call.)
2. I'm not a pedaphille. I probably won't be calling any kids. (I'm 20)
3. Be able to take a call in the range of 14:00 - 19:00 GMT on Friday this week (subject to change)

There is an expiry, about 6 months.

Umm, no. BUT - the 10 min card is just that, one 10 minute call anywhere, no questions.
The $2 one is 4 to 6 cents per minute on average, depending on the destination. There's also a connection fee if the source is a payphone or if the toll free connector number is used. (there's a local number that I'll be using)
RSVP Communications is the provider.
