Well i just got a new case and processor, and i moved everything into the new case.. everything works fine appart from the screen goes blank every few mins :s

OS: Microsoft® Windows Vista™ Ultimate  - Service Pack 0, v. - 6.0.5536
CPU: AMD Sempron(tm) Processor 3400+, 2.01GHZ
GFX: NVIDIA GeForce 7300 GS  256MB @ 1280x1024 (60HZ)
RAM: 1.5GB

It may seem stupid but have you checked the cables?

My second monitor died... and my dads office is locked and hes out so icant use his...

I have tried differnt resolutions..

i went on 1204x786 for about 10 mins and it didnt happen then... but it hapens about 2 or 3 times in an hour on 1280x1024 ... :s

Just the screen or the computer locks up? try pressing Caps lock see if its froze.

also try removing the gfx card runthe gold contacts put it back in.

I see you are running Windows Vista! Have you tried updating your graphic card drivers with the official Vista drivers on nvidia's website?

Also, if you have just started to have these problems since updating/changing graphic card drivers i'd suggest you "roll back" any of these changes.

All i did was transfer everything into my new case. idont see how that would delete the driver for my graphics card:S

Ill try and update it anyway :chrongue:

Is the card overheating? nd also try installin win xp , if u dont hav any hdd partitions just use a 4gb mem stick

I just borrowed my dads screen, mines fuxxed, i can use it on 1204x786 with no problems though :s

meh... ill have to get a new one unless anyone has any ideas

There might be a broken connection somewhere. It could be in the cable, in the computer-end plug, in the monitor-end plug/entry, somewhere inside the monitor. I wouldn't but a new one without getting this one checked.

meh, its about 7 years old anyway.. i was gonna get a new one instead of a case and cpu... ill just have to save  up for a new one :sad:
