Newbish Excel Question by M73A on 09-22-2006 at 04:04 PM

what do i press so i can view the formulas in cells on a worksheet, instead of the result of the formulas?

i looked in google and it just gives me all the rubbish about settings and stuff, but my old ict teacher told me a button, e.g. F8 that toggled this view on and off....  (i've tried all the F buttons and none worked:()

lol. thanks ^_^

the formula will show in the top bar, or if you want to display the formula in a cell, you can put a space in front of the = sign, or put the whole thing in single quotes. Thats what I do, at least
