[request] IRC Messenger by MX-G on 09-24-2006 at 06:31 PM

i don't know if this is possible, but it could be a great script if it is possible.

if you want to join to an IRC server, you need a client, like mirc or anotherone, but if you have it on Windows Live Messenger it could be best and nice :D(Y)(Y)

what do you think about it?

I would love it, but it would need mirc's possibilities :P

I think it's a horrible idea :P

Use BitlBee and do it the other way round :D

You mean IRC from WLM? That'd be hard :P but I bet a lot of people would like it (windowless controls suck though , make everything harder)

RE: [request] IRC Messenger by Reload2 on 09-25-2006 at 04:39 AM

haha, the tabs and group chat looks really like a irc channel though :p but a IRC client in Messenger won't contains as much functions as mIRC

RE: [request] IRC Messenger by John Anderton on 09-25-2006 at 08:29 AM

I think it would suck. mirc ftw!
It really wont be able to handle everything that mirc does as well as it does it. If so, whats the point? :P

I actually thought about this myself... And I thought how it might be accomplished. But it would either require a proxy server or hooking the messenger protocol, niether im good enough to do :(

But I got bad news for you MX-G. IRCap wont work on it :P

¬.¬, well, i think that my request is a good sugestion for a new script :P, and could be another options that mirc doesn't have into them:P
