Dr. pepper, siply because it tastes nice and i could go through 3 bottles in a day :cheesy:.

and other: Cherry coke. i dont like normal coke.... :^)

Pepsi is the better tasting drink, it's proven, even coca cola know that it is. When a new employee is taken in, they do the "coke test" on them, where they're blindfolded, and made to try two different drinks, they always say that drink "b" (or whatever) is the better tasting one, which is always Pepsi. It's proof that people go for brand names as opposed to the better tasting shiz.

Hmm, I would have to have a can of Coke and Pepsi to taste the difference...

But I like Dr. Pepper better, more of a cherry flavour.

:p... I love mountain dew... it's that or pepsi for me... my favorite kind of all time though is Surge...  don't see it anywhere anymore though :(.... but any orange or grape is good too.

I think drink "soda" (which is not the same as the soda you're mentioning). It's water with fizz/bubbles.

Very healthy alternative for soft drinks.

I've never heard of such a test to be honest. And I know I can easily differentiate between the two, and I'm sure many others can too - I'm sure many of them would prefer coke (and if they didn't, I bet a lot of people looking for a job at coke would pretend they preferred that at coke).

Imo pepsi tastes better and in India pepsi is a lot more advertised. Almost everyone drinks pepsi but i like coke.
I rarely drink softdrinks but if i do here is my choice list
1/2. Mountain Dew/Sprite
3. Coke
4. Mirinda/Fanta (Orange drinks)
5. Pepsi

Whatever's cheaper! If they were the same price, I'd probably get Pepsi. I'd get another drink (like Mountain Dew, Sprite, Fanta, Solo) most of the time though, while I know some people that will only drink Coke, no other soft drinks.

I tried it once by accident, I thought it was lemonade :(. Didn't like it. Unless you meant you drink it with other drinks, maybe alcoholic drinks (I don't drink alcohol anyway).

It's not a joke, any combination of diet, vanilla, lime, lemon, and cherry you can think of probably exists. The most extreme example that first comes to mind (that I'm positive exists) is "Diet Cherry Vanilla Dr. Pepper."

My business studies teacher worked for Coca Cola, and it's what they do. They've got lots of "tricks" which make people want to buy the coke, even though it's not the better tasting product.

You can't "pretend" you prefer the coke, you have to say which one you like the most, most people expect the nicer product to be the coke, which is why the say it (to suck up).

Pepsi ftw! Just generally tastes better... Except Pepsi Max (makes me bloated :s) And what was the deal with coffee flavour? (and lime for that matter!) Lemon was nice :p

Like rootbeer to, but we can't really get it easily over here in england. Apparantly McDonalds used to sell it, i'm not that old to remember though. We just get it imported. IBU or something it's called (comes in glass bottles like coke, but the lids twist, not pop :s)

Who owns Dr pepper? I saw a bottle of it in the shop yesterday and it had a label on it saying it was "Dr peper ZERO" which Coca Cola has had for a while now, but it was the same font and everything on the "ZERO". :S

Coca Cola owns a lot of drinks, they've just sold powerade. They own minute maid, fanta, sprite, dr pepper etc.

Coca Cola are also partners with Cadburies in all of the "Schweppes" drinks.

In Australia all Cadbury, Schweppes and Pepsi products are made by Cadbury Schweppes, they have nothing to do with Coca-Cola. The Coca-Cola brands are made by Coca-Cola Amatil here. At least most of Coca-Cola drinks say "A product of the Coca-Cola company" on the lid.

It's just the schweppes water that is partially owned by Coca Cola, not all of the products.

In India, there is a drink called Thumbs Up. It is by far the best cola I have ever had in my life. I like really strong cola and the next closest thing to Thumbs Up is Coke.

P.S. As for the root beer, Barq's, MUG and A&W root beer prove to be the best (especially A&W).

There is a type of ginger ale called Canada Dry which is really good too.

Edit: Almost forgot to mention miranda and fanta (even the grape one too :)).
