me and my friends aaaaalways hug one another :P it was started as a joke and now we just do it every time we walk past one another :P

Same here, it's just friendly to be honest. The time my friend Andy kissed me on the lips was a bit too far to be honest. I just sort of turned around and walked off because I didn't know what to say. Turns out he's gay anyway, so no worries.

Actually; there is a guy here in Old Montreal who has been doing the "Free hug" thing for maybe 10-15 years.  Everytime we'd go to old Montreal, we'd see him at the same spot, every time.
