Monitor resolutions - Printable Version

Well... In XP I can get 1400x1050 resolution, but in vista i can only get up to 1280x1240:s i have the drivers installed but i cant get it, and i cant stand 1280x1240 as i got use to 1400x1050 :undecided:


anyone know if theres a way to get it back?

GFX: NVIDIA GeForce 7300GS 256MB

Same to me :sad:
Only 1024x768 and i need 1280x1240
also i have the drivers installed

GFX: NVIDIA GeForce fx 5200 128MB

and still no solution =/

Do you have it installed in a Virtual Machine or on the computer directly?

If it's the second one, maybe the Vista drivers simply don't reach that high.

Its on the machine directly, When im on XP i dont even have the drivers installed and i can get it =/

i suppose you disabled the option:
don't display resolutions that the monitor doesn't support...

this is weird
i have a 17'' lcd monitor that support 1280x1024 and i only have 1024x768
but i connected a crt monitor of 16'' and it supports the 1280x1024

yes but higher resolutions require higher refresh rates....

Most i can get is 60hz, but thats what i had when i was on 1400x1050

wouldnt be that low if my dad didnt take my monitor cause "CRT's slow down the computer" 8-)
