Are you sure you are an administrator?   Double-check.

Go to your Control Panel, make sure your Control Panel is on the Classic view.  Double-click on "User Accounts".  Under "or pick an account to change".  Does it say "Computer Administrator" under your name?

If not, click on your username, "Change my account type" and choose "Computer administrator".

What version of Windows are you running, BTW?

I'm down as Admin... Like I said before, I'm the only fella that uses this, and I dont have my Guest Account activated....

I'm Running Windows XP

Alright, do you mind trying to paste the exact message here?

You can do that when the message box of the error is open, click on it to make it active and press "Ctrl" & "C" at the same time, then come back here and paste it.

This has to be done in safemode.

Also you can try right clicking on the installation clicking Run As... and typing Administrator as the username and clicking OK.

It Says:

"You do not have access to make the required system configuration modifications. Please rerun this installation from an administrators account."

To get into the Windows 2000 / XP Safe mode, as the computer is booting press and hold your "F8 Key" which should bring up the "Windows Advanced Options Menu" as shown [in the image in that link]. Use your arrow keys to move to "Safe Mode" and press your Enter key.

anyway, that's all :$
